Pre University Course

We follow the curriculum prescribed by the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka for both I and II Pre University courses. From the academic year 2012-13, National Science Core Curriculum is adapted for I PU (PCMB) Course. At Christ Junior College, we offer various combinations of core subjects in the disciplines of Science, Commerce and Social Sciences to meet the aspirations of the student body in pursuit of knowledge. The prescribed textbooks of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) published by the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka, is being followed for the core subjects of both the I and II PU courses. Our faculty is highly competent with the latest developments in the respective disciplines and caters to the different learning levels of the students. We follow a student-centred teaching methodology where life at Christ Junior College revolves around the overall development of our young students. Our academic programmes are designed in compliance with the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka pattern to provide the best education to students in search of a fine Pre University education.
