Faculty
The learning environment at CJC-IBDP supports and empowers teachers. It has ensured that all teachers have access to the current and relevant content for fair and rigourous implementation of the IB curriculum and supports their engagement with local, national, international and global contexts. They are well-versed in using technologies provided by the school to facilitate effective communication with the IB community.
Teachers consciously use current and relevant programme documentation in letter and spirit to implement the programme in compliance with the IB philosophy in their classroom teaching. Teacher training sessions organized by the college, sessions organized by associations of international schools, and IB mandated workshops ensure that professional learning informs their practice. Further, collaborative planning and implementation of the programme also supports the effective delivery of the course.
Student
The institutional culture of CJC-IBDP supports all students to reach their full potential. The admission policy of the institution is inclusive and it implements strategies to support students to pursue the full IB diploma. Our student community upholds intercultural understanding and celebrates multilingualism.
The academic culture of the institution helps create an environment of continuous learning and growth. Our students are conscious of and create cultures of ethical academic practice.
Campus
Christ Junior College-IBDP is located in the Christ University Main Campus on Hosur Road, Bangalore.
The campus infrastructure extends learning and teaching. Spacious classrooms, laboratories, recording rooms, assembly areas, playing field, auditoriums, cafeterias and greenery adorn the campus. The college library is a very active space where our learners get support to hone their research skills. It is well stocked and technology enabled to provide access to online digital resources.
